We provide compassionate, free veterinary care for pets, farm animals, and working animals belonging to U.S. veterans, supporting their health, well-being, and the human-animal bond.
Mobile Community Veterinary Clinics
We operate mobile veterinary clinics at community sites, parking lots, and farm locations where veterans and their animals can gather for care. Our clinics provide medical and surgical services for pets, farm animals, and working animals belonging to U.S. veterans. We bring essential care for large and small animals directly to the community without requiring individual house visits.
Surgical and Medical Care for Large and Small Animals
We provide compassionate surgical and medical care for pets, farm animals, and working animals belonging to U.S. veterans, including homeless and low-income veteran families. From essential procedures and wound repairs to preventive care, our mission is to improve animal health, support family livelihoods, and honor the human-animal bond.
ABOUT
About Veterinary Mission of Mercy
Veterinary Mission of Mercy (VMOM) is a faith-inspired nonprofit dedicated to providing free, compassionate veterinary care to the animals of U.S. veterans. Inspired by the compassion of Mother Teresa and the sacred dignity of all creation, VMOM was founded on the belief that serving animals in need uplifts and honors their owners, especially those who have served our nation.
Founded by Dr. Anthony C. Bostick, a U.S. Army veteran and veterinarian, and joined in leadership by Dr. Howard Gobble, a veterinarian with decades of service in both civilian and military veterinary medicine, VMOM is led by a team of veterans who continue their service by caring for the animals that support fellow veterans.
Our mission extends to pets, farm animals, and working animals that provide companionship, food security, and livelihood for veterans — particularly those facing financial hardship or housing insecurity. Through Veterinary Mission Outreach Events held in donated community spaces, we bring veterinary care directly to veterans without judgment, paperwork barriers, or cost — ensuring that no animal suffers due to poverty or hardship.
